I have attempted to declutter so many times that it is not funny.  Each time I would get rid a lot of things.  But, for the most part, if the truth be told, I was not decluttering, I was reorganizing all of my stuff.  Can you relate to that?  Come on, be honest.  Or, is it just me?

Anyway, I have given some serious thought to why I have had such a challenge decluttering and here are my 3 reasons (let me know if you can relate to them):

     1.  I did not set realistic goals.  Come to think about it, I didn't set any goals.  I just dove right in.

     2.  I saw and told myself that I was a disorganized person.

     3.  Whenever I visualized my home, I saw it cluttered.

CLUTTER...NO MORE!

By now you are probably asking how these 3 things could have possibly been the reason for my inability to declutter.  Am I right?   Trust me, they played a major role in my "stuff" clinging to me and my home.

Have you ever had an AHA moment?  Well, I had one of those moments pertaining to my clutter challenge one day while visiting my daughter in Doha, Qatar.  I was going over success principles that I use to obtain my business goals as well as my health/fitness goals. I suddenly realized that I was not using those principles to conquer clutter. Wow!  Everything begin to change.  Oh, the clutter did not suddenly disappear.  In fact, I am still working on it.  But, the difference is, I have made real progress because I incorporated the very same success principles that have helped me in other areas of my life.

WHERE TO NEXT?

You can use the same success principles that I am using to get rid of clutter!  Are you interested?  If yes, then join me next week and get ready to set some decluttering goals!

See you then!!!
